Vp Sales & Marketing (Denim)

Our client's Portfolio has experience of 73 years in the Denim Textile and Apparel production business. They are looking for a dedicated and analytical VP of Sales and Marketing. The team is looking for a sales exec/sales superstar to help them grow their business with US Brands. The responsibilities include sales generation activities, meeting with major clients, writing sales reports, designing effective sales strategies, and marketing company products. Also, to ensure that the company remains a leading market player and enjoys a niche brand image.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Customer Management

• Develop strong relationships with key partners.
• Review customer activity, anticipate consumer needs, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Responding to assigned inbound inquiries and guiding prospective customers through the onboarding process (product selection/mockup stage/closed account).
• Create healthy relationships with Brands, Stores, and buying offices in the USA.
• Manage daily customer needs such as customer service requests, re-orders, and any other customer needs.
• Travel to Key Accounts as necessary.

Operations

• Responsible for the strategic plan, generating incremental sales volume, related to the assigned customer base.
• Develop detailed sales forecasts along with setting quarterly and annual sales goals.
• Create market analysis, and sales reports and provide feedback to the leadership team.
• Maintain sales operations of key accounts and identify where improvements can be made and develop strategies to achieve them.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Participate in trade shows as required.

Market Analysis

• To carry out necessary surveys for Market Intelligence, Market Mapping & Customer Segmentation to remain abreast of the prevailing conditions in the marketplace.
• Collaborate with the team to explore new opportunities.
• Develop and implement performance improvement strategies and plan to promote continuous improvement.
• Strong working knowledge of the company’s products, competitive products, and the market.
• Provide relevant customer feedback to sales/marketing and operations teams related to product reception and new/desired features.
• Monitor the market and competitor products and activities.

Education & Relevant Experience

• Experience with Major American Brands
• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, textile, or a related field required 12 or 15 years of relevant experience.
• Proven work experience as VP of Sales or a Similar Role

• Understanding of sales & negotiating techniques.

• Having strong knowledge of modern marketing approaches.
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of various sales tactics.

Salary: 180-250K/ yr. (Includes bonus)
