The Company:

This company is currently seeking a highly talented and visionary individual for the position of VP of People. This individual will play a crucial role in the organization by overseeing the human resources department, recruiting and developing top-notch employees, and fostering a vibrant and inclusive workplace.


Key responsibilities for this role will include (but are not limited to):


  • Support managers and employees on employee relations matter and conflict resolution.
  • Manage recruitment and selection processes, ensuring high-quality candidate sourcing and onboarding.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs to engage, develop, and retain employees.
  • Identify and address staffing needs and talent gaps in collaboration with leadership and department heads.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and reporting requirements.
  • Establish an HR systems roadmap for efficient growth as the company expands.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive work culture through employee engagement programs.
  • Manage company-provided health insurance and benefits.
  • Promote continuous learning and professional development through mentorship and coaching programs.
  • Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Create talent attraction, development, and retention programs, including performance management and career development.
  • Oversee employee record maintenance and HR systems.
  • Provide strategic HR guidance to the leadership team on organizational planning, talent acquisition, and compensation management.
  • Monitor and implement employee feedback mechanisms.


Required and desired skillsets, experience, and qualifications for this role:

  • At least 5+ years of progressive experience in People and Talent management.
  • Proven track record as a strategic leader in HR, developing and executing HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Extensive knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Capable of building relationships with individuals at all levels of the company.
  • Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create Excel trackers, and be able to use Word and Powerpoint for reporting/presentations via teams or in person.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and oversee HR initiatives, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Preferred certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR).
