Loan Factory, the fast-growing mortgage marketplace, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as the Vice President of Operations. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for managing the company's staff, overseeing all operational aspects of the organization, and ensuring the successful execution of the CEOt's visions and plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead and inspire a team of dedicated professionals, fostering a positive work culture, and promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, enabling them to perform at their best and achieve their goals.
  • Operational Oversight:
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and reduce turnaround times.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of all operational functions within the company, including mortgage processing, underwriting, closing, and post-closing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards throughout all operational activities.
  • Project Management:
  • Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Define project goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements, and monitor progress to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive the successful execution of company projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timely completion.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Work closely with the CEO to understand his vision, goals, and plans for the company's growth and success.
  • Translate the CEO’s vision into actionable strategies and initiatives, ensuring their effective implementation across the organization.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align operational initiatives with broader organizational goals.
  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage operations, including loan origination, underwriting, and closing processes.
  • Proven experience in a senior management role within the mortgage industry, with a focus on operations and process improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.

Compensations: $100,000 - $150,000/ year + performance bonus
