Position Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Vice President of Land Development and Operations for our portfolio company, Milenio Development, with a strong focus on construction expertise to lead and oversee our company's construction projects and operational activities. The VP will be instrumental in driving the successful execution of land development projects, ensuring efficient construction operations, and achieving strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in land development construction, exceptional leadership skills, and a keen eye for optimizing project efficiency and quality.
Responsibilities:
1. Construction Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive construction strategies aligned with the company's vision and growth objectives for land development projects.
2. Project Execution: Oversee the end-to-end construction process, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control, to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
3. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a diverse team of construction professionals, including project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
4. Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other construction partners to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. A Master's degree would be advantageous.
2. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in land development construction, with at least 5 years in a senior management role overseeing multiple construction projects.
3. Construction Expertise: Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, techniques, and best practices related to land development, residential or commercial projects.
4. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional construction teams, driving a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
