VP of Finance Overview: As the Vice President of Finance, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial success of our organization. You will oversee all financial operations, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring the effective management of our financial resources. With your expertise in the software industry, CPA designation, and accounting background, you will contribute to our growth and profitability.
VP of Finance Responsibilities:Lead and manage the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions, providing accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making processes.Cash management, revenue recognition, internal rates of return, no inventory neededDevelop and implement financial strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's goals and objectives.Monitor and optimize the company's financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other relevant laws.Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiencies and identify potential risks.Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to the executive team to support strategic decision-making.Evaluate potential acquisitions, conduct due diligence, and support integration efforts.Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting the software sector.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related fieldCPA designationProven experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the software industry.Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to provide insights into complex financial matters while still being a hand's on individual
