Title: Virtual Bookkeeper

Status: 3 months to start, with expectation to be ongoing if mutually agreed upon

Hours: 10- 15 per week

Hourly Range: $20 - $25 per hour commensurate with experience

Location: 100% Remote

Our client is a financial strategy consulting firm, seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join their team in this remote role! Leveraging their expertise and industry insights, they play a vital role in helping organizations develop and implement effective business financials that pave the way for achieving long-term vision.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, working in mid-large SMB companies and is proficient in QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
• Utilize your expertise in QuickBooks Online (QBO) to streamline processes and optimize efficiency.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for our clients.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and guidelines.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to address financial inquiries and provide guidance.
• Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and verifying entries.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Mastery in using QuickBooks Online (QBO) is essential.
• Prior experience in a client-facing role is a plus.
• Familiarity with additional accounting software is advantageous.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, GSuite and other relevant software.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in your work.
