Position Summary:

We are looking for a talented and qualified logistics manager to join our team! In this position, you will be responsible for all supply chain management duties including partnering with our 3PL teams, researching shipping methods, analyzing outbound (DTC and B2B) shipping and fulfillment costs , assessing budgets, and organizing storage.

The successful candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail in order to oversee daily operations. In addition to having excellent organizational skills, you should also possess in-depth knowledge of logistics and inventory systems.

Essential Duties:

• Managing levels of stock
• Manage any issues between company reporting vs 3PL reporting
• Ensure 3PL’s are maintaining their SLA’s.
• Creating scorecards that are regularly reviewed with the 3PLs to measure their efficiency
• Researching ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers.
• Driving Logistics cost reductions for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Defining and communicating company KPIs like on-time percentages, shipping and order accuracy, return rate, and inbound receiving time to the 3PL and tracking performance
• On-site visits to 3PL locations as needed
• Setting up and owning all escalation procedures
• Selecting carriers and negotiating contracts and rates
• Working with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.
• Evaluating budgets and expenditures, tracking fuel surcharges, etc.

Requirements:

• Outstanding analytical, problem-solving and organizational abilities
• Demonstrated experience managing 3PL relationships
• Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software.
• 5+ years experience in a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of the consumer goods industry.
