Job Description

Our client, located in the Schaumburg, is a global leader in the design and manufacture and is known for its technical innovation, quality products and exceptional customer service. Their global footprint includes operations in North America and Europe and is supported by a global sales network. This growing organization is well-positioned for continued growth and profitability this year and beyond.

Reporting to the President, the VP of People & Culture is responsible for all aspects of the global HR function across North America (N.A.), Europe and Asia including recruiting, on-boarding, talent management, payroll, benefits, compensation management, performance management, HR policy administration, HR regulatory compliance and employee relations.


Responsibilities:

  • Champions and promotes a strong safety culture
  • Domestic and international travel; estimated 10-20%.
  • Culture leader, supporting and driving employee communications, engagement and globally establishes and maintains Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs.
  • Directs the administration of all benefit programs including health, welfare, and retirement plans
  • Maintains and upgrades the performance management program, ensuring reviews are completed on time while offering ongoing training, coaching and assistance to management
  • Develops Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure relevant HR goals and performance
  • Three direct reports in N.A. and two dotted-line reports in Europe, total staff of six
  • Leads the recruiting of high-performing employees and leaders
  • Establishes a global training program to facilitate employee development
  • Works with top management to develop the HR elements of the company’s strategy and business plans including development of the necessary programs, policies, and practices
  • Provides strong leadership in the recruitment, training, and development of top-quality HR talent to ensure the HR organization has a high level of performance and productivity
  • Supports leadership in developing and retaining employees and succession planning of key leaders
  • Strategic partner supporting corporate and business unit leadership teams
  • Works with top management in developing and implementing compensation strategy.


Requirements:

  • Prior experience integrating acquired businesses is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor of Science in HR Management or related field, MBA preferred, SHRM/SPHR certification
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, communication, and project management skills
  • Metrics-driven, proficient with the use of KPIs, strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Prior experience with Talent Management, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, HRIS and other critical HR initiatives
  • 10+ years of progressive HR management experience
  • Proven HR leadership in a senior management role at the corporate level or in a business unit
  • Previous experience in entrepreneurial, growth company is strongly preferred
  • Prior experience with different cultures and geographies including N.A., Europe and Asia
  • Target company or division size: 200-2,000+ employees and $100 million to $1 billion revenues preferred
