Our client is the owner of a highly successful multi-unit national franchise group, with plans for continued growth - current brand and others they plan to franchise. The focus is currently on this innovative ethnic concept with broad demographic appeal and strong support from franchisor. It is highly profitable, full-service concept, with favorable F&B and operational costs- impressive EBITDA. The system-wide brand is growing at a 30% per year rate.
The client is not a traditional restaurant operator, but rather a successful businessperson who is passionate about the business and opportunities to grow. The client’s company has grown rapidly in recent years, (2 additional in the last 18 months – a proven concept). They “know what they know and what they don’t know”. They are looking for a seasoned restaurant professional to assist in the successful growth and profitability of the organization.
Ideal Candidate - MUST have experience, understanding and background with:
- Multi-unit operations – full service casual dining
- Large and small-company experience – entrepreneurial a plus
- Familiarity with KC Metro market - highly desirable
- Proven experience developing teams and individuals – can attract and develop top talent
- Varied concepts which have required learning new cultures, points of service, food – known for a high level of curiosity
- Full accountability for multi-unit sales and profitability
- Full accountability for – operations, human resources, marketing, construction
- Unit restaurant growth – strategy, construction, real estate and NSO
- History of employment with organizations known for great service/hospitality
- Strategic planning and execution

Compensation
- Base Salary – Competitive base salary, plus bonus and equity at a future point in time
This position will operate “close to the mat”/be “hands-on”, while playing a strategic role in helping the owner build the business – unit count, sales, and profitability
