Omega Accounting Solutions is in hyper growth mode and seeking a Vice President of HR to join our team. The Vice President of HR will be responsible for developing and executing human resource & change management strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. This position provides strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the executive management team. The Vice President of HR will also assist with any additional requests that may arise. Please note: This position is fully on-site.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic HR priorities in line with and supporting the achievement of the annual business objectives for the business
  • Champion and execute on talent acquisition, development, and diversity & inclusion strategies
  • Develop a unified approach and corresponding tools for executive and senior leaders to evaluate, design and align their structures to build high-performing teams
  • Directly participate in institutional planning and decision-making as a member of the Executive Leadership team, and provide broad leadership and coordination to the company
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Lead cross functional strategic change projects to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency
  • Complete other duties at the discretion of management
  • Design and deliver development programs aligned with the company’s strategic talent needs, and prepare our managers to help employees be successful as their responsibilities expand due the growth in the business.
  • Continue and Complete HR initiatives to further define Job Classification and expectations at each level to provide clear development paths for our employees to progress in their careers
  • Build a human resources service delivery model that supports improvements in both service effectiveness and the cost efficiency of HR
  • Ensure easy-to-use processes for assessing performance, potential, critical roles and employees throughout the organization.
  • Define and implement a scalable, integrated human resources technology strategy that will support anticipated organizational growth.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement with focus on leading high-impact projects and activities focused on employee engagement and retention, as well as, fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace
  • Coach and advise senior leaders on team development and key organizational and management issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Experience of working as a member of a senior leadership team including being a trusted adviser and sounding board to senior leadership
  • Proficient with the latest technology; can quickly learn and manage multiple software platforms
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required, Master’s degree is a plus
  • Ability to integrate and align strategy, people, and activities across functions, processes, and teams
  • Experience leading business transformation and change.
  • Extensive knowledge of organization design and development organizational change concepts, tools, methods, guidance, and talent management principles and processes
  • Experience establishing constructive and informative relationships with employees, management, executives and stakeholders, both internally and externally
