Vice President Of Clinical Operations

carafem, a leading national provider of reproductive healthcare services headquartered in Washington, DC, is seeking a strategic and experienced leader to join our team as the Vice President of Clinical Operations. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing all areas of performance for carafem health center operations, including growth strategies, quality standards, financial performance, and progress toward key performance indicators.

We are looking for someone passionate about improving the quality of healthcare services provided to clients, who has a proven track record of developing high-performance teams, and who is experienced in fiscal responsibility. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in compliance, quality, and risk management, as well as strategic thinking and innovation. This position is hybrid and requires travel to carafem sites regularly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the clinical operations budgets, including growth strategies.
• Provide leadership to the clinical operations team and all staff who directly touch carafem clients.
• Collaborate with the Compliance Officer to ensure compliance oversight, continual process improvement, and alignment with all organizational and clinical goals and quality assurance guidelines.
• Provide leadership to the Compliance, Quality, and Risk Management work group to assure health center teams remain in compliance with all regulatory and internal policies and procedures.
• Accountable for overseeing the processes that ensure an enhanced customer experience.
• Work collaboratively across the organization and with partners to assure successful operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related experience. Master's degree desired.
• Minimum of eight years of management experience with four to eight years of progressive leadership, including leadership at a director level.
• Strategic planning and financial management skills and expertise.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Superior interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of staff.
• Multi-facility management experience is required, and abortion healthcare services experience is preferred.

The salary range is $110,000 - $130,000 and consideration will be commensurate with experience.
