We’re looking for a VP of AR Lens Engagement to join the Perception team at Snap !
What you’ll do:
  • Lead teams that include data, ranking, design, personalization, product, and product engineering
  • Drive engagement with our AR lenses across all platforms and channels, and across all surface areas in Snapchat
  • Develop organizational-level goals, such as how to best measure success across a massive ecosystem, and drive the technical and organizational roadmap for the AR Platform teams
  • Set strategy and drive execution across product changes, ranking improvements, and content (lens) inventory
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Able to prioritize duties and work well on your own
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail
  • Background working with both internal and external partners

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering and/or product management
  • 5+ years of experience managing a team
  • BS/BA in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Someone who loves to learn, and is passionate about helping others
  • Experience managing teams of at least 70 engineers
  • Background in consumer social product development
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional leaders across a globally distributed organization and exercising sound judgment
  • Experience with data science and Internet-scale infrastructure
  • Demonstrated experience leading a large team at scale and managing engineering with an eye to driving efficiency
  • Track record of delivery in rapidly changing, highly collaborative, multi-site, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Deep knowledge of and experience working with a diverse group of engineers

Compensation:
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
  • Zone B: The base salary range for this position is $342,000-$500,000 annually
  • Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): The base salary range for this position is $360,000-$500,000 annually
  • Zone C: The base salary range for this position is $306,000-$500,000 annually
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs
