Job Description
Overview:
The Vice President, Human Resources is responsible for leading in region HR business partner field staff supporting the regional and state sales, marketing, and operations organizations. This role will work closely with other HR COEs and Market HR to drive strategic priorities and long-term vision and execute on key initiatives. The VP, HR will communicate regularly with regional Sales Leaders to understand HR needs and priorities.

Responsibilities:
  • Drives associate engagement, change management and other culture/communications initiatives in region.
  • Primary Liaison between corporate and field staff.
  • Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.
  • Works closely with other Regional HR Leads and HR COE Leads to deliver a coordinated HR Strategy across the organization.
  • Directly manages local/state HR in region serving as main point of contact for HR team and all associates on HR polices processes and questions.
  • Develops strong internal relationships with business facing counterparts within sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Act as a leader within BBG to continue developing talent, focusing on diversity & inclusion.
    • Continue to develop team by identifying, coaching, and developing direct reports and broader team.
    • Talent Development: Develop potential successor(s) and successors for other key HR roles.
  • Partner and advisor to Regional President to set and execute the vision for associate engagement, retention and development.
    • Primary Liaison between corporate and field staff.

  • Talent Development: Develop potential successor(s) and successors for other key HR roles.
  • Continue to develop team by identifying, coaching, and developing direct reports and broader team.
  • Develops strategic human capital agenda that closely supports the overall business.
Qualifications:
  • Thorough understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • A champion for change in HR and BBG
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Demonstrated ability developing relationship and managing others and managing through influence
  • Experience in and understanding of beverage alcohol distribution industry
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience of HR Leadership, Human Capital Strategy or related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
  • Customer service focused leader, able to foster team culture of customer responsiveness and continuous improvement
Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone
Competencies:
  • People management responsibility for pay reviews, performance management, training, and resource planning.
  • Requires conceptual thinking to understand complex issues and their implications, where sufficient information may not be available.
Salary and Benefit Statement:
Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience.
  • This position is bonus eligible
  • Salary: $180,000 - $220,000
