Job Title: Vice President of Human Resources
Location: Mansfield / Foxborough, MA area (Hybrid 3 days per week)
Compensation: $175-225K annual salary plus bonus (15-25%) and benefits
Scope of Position / Responsibilities
Reporting to the CFO, this person will identify, create, implement, and drive key Human Resources best practices and initiatives for the business. Will provide strategic direction and provide expertise for the full scope of the HR function for our company. Will develop and execute the HR strategy for the organization and be responsible for leading the company's people function, structure, and policies.
· Be a guardian and champion for our culture of kindness, excellence, inclusion, and fun.
· Drive HR operational excellence by identifying and addressing our present and future needs in areas such as benefits, compensation, compliance, onboarding, talent acquisition and other HR related processes and systems across the company.
· Continuously measure success in the above areas and iterate as needed, so that we focus on systems that fit our future infrastructure needs.
· Oversee the use of our HRIS, advising and implementing best practices and upgrading if needed.
· Ownership of payroll and 401k related administrative management
· Follow changes in legislation, regulation, and employment law to ensure the company is doing right by its team members while mitigating and identifying risk.
· Work with leadership to build, implement, and represent company policies, practices, and systems in a way that aligns with individual needs and overall company goals.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience supporting a fast-paced company, with high preference supporting a multi-unit business and one that works with acquisitions
- Targeting 15+ years of HR experience, including extensive hands-on Manager / Supervisor level experience
- Experience creating and implementing effective HR policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree
- Local to Boston, MA or someone with ties already to the Boston area
- Experience supporting HR structures for high-growth business evolving into mature organizations
