Responsibilities


  • Compensation and Payroll Develop and implement compensation strategies that attract and retain top talent, oversee payroll processes, and ensure compliance with compensation laws and regulations.
  • Compensation Claims Manage workers' compensation claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing, and collaborating with insurance providers and legal teams to minimize costs and ensure employee well-being.
  • Union Labor Relations Experience Develop and maintain positive relationships with labor unions, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements, and effectively managing labor disputes and negotiations.
  • Non-profit Experience Utilize your experience in the non-profit sector to develop and implement HR policies and practices that align with our organization's mission and values.
  • Employee Relations Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by addressing employee concerns, conducting investigations, and implementing effective employee relations strategies.
  • Workforce Development Collaborate with department heads to identify training and development needs, design and implement programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, and support career progression within the organization.
  • Unemployment and Labor Relations Manage unemployment claims and provide guidance on labor relations matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Benefit Administration Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimizing employee satisfaction.
  • Clinical Experience in Behavioral Health and Psychiatry Collaborate with our medical team to understand the unique needs of our employees in these specialized fields, ensuring their well-being and providing appropriate support and resources.


Qualifications


  • Proven experience in union labor relations, including negotiating and managing collective bargaining agreements.
  • Proven experience in workforce development, including designing and implementing training and development programs.
  • 4+ years of clinical experience in behavioral health and psychiatry, with a deep understanding of the unique HR challenges in these fields.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Experience managing compensation claims and workers' compensation processes.
  • Prior experience in the non-profit sector, with a demonstrated ability to align HR practices with organizational mission and values.
  • Excellent employee relations skills, with a track record of successfully addressing employee concerns and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Thorough understanding of unemployment and labor relations laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in compensation and payroll administration, including knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably in the engineering industry.
