Job Description

ISkout has been retained to find a leading edge HR Executive that can assume a C-Suite level position leading HR for their firm in the Cannabis industry.


Ideal candidate will have big box HR leadership experience and/or have helped grow a company from start up to scale. This is an incredible opportunity to work with a great team that have established a strong and highly strategic position in this emerging industry. The company is already growing rapidly with plans to take that growth to the next level.


The HQ is in western Massachusetts but the company is growing Nationally.


Responsibilities

The VP of HR will have overall responsibility for leading the Human resources function. They will lead implementations of new technology, desigh new processes, manage Talent Acquisition, establish HR policies and procedures, develop employee manuals and all related documentation. This is an Executive leaderhsip role and will play an important part in stearing the company forward, beyond just the scope of HR.


Qualifications

Strong HR experience and domain expertise is a must. 10+ years of progressive executive HR experience is required. Ideally, some experience in regulated industries such as tobacoo, alcohol, or cannabis itself.


Role requires excellent communications and leadership skills as well as strong written and documentation capabilities.
