Vice President, Batch Modernization Leader

The Role

The Batch Modernizations Leader (VP) will have the opportunity to drive the modernization efforts of the batch cycles for the Fidelity Enterprise. If you are an innovative leader who can think differently about how Fidelity shares data across the firm and with 3rd party customers/institutions/vendors, then this is the role for you! In this role you will be responsible for inventorying, analyzing, recommending, and implementing solutions to eliminate batch processing from both the mainframe and distributed platforms.

The Expertise And Skills You Bring

• Cloud practitioner or similar certifications
• Understanding current IT modernization technologies
• Knowledge of major Cloud Provider infrastructure and technologies, such as AWS, Azure, Docker / Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Snowflake Secure Data Share
• Knowledge of cloud concepts and technologies
• Application modernization and cloud batch migration patterns
• Experience with data extractions, transformation and streaming processes
• Understanding agile practices like Test Automation, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and DevOps
• 15+ years of experience in development, systems programming, production support, and business operations

The Team

A comprehensive Batch strategy will be developed to better leverage our enterprise data and cloud strategies and modernize and transform how applications consume and produce data, within a newly established team. This leadership role will be a member of this organization’s leadership team to establish and execute on the strategy.
