Job Title: Vendor Associate Lead
Location: Remote - USA
Reports to: Vendor Relations Manager
Department Name: Vendor Relations
Job Types: Full Time, Non-Exempt
Pay Range: $23 - $28/hr. (Actual compensation is commensurate with job related knowledge, skills, experience, and location of the position.)
Overview
The Vendor Relations Associate Lead serves as a liaison between Vendor Relations Associate, Vendor Relations Manager, and other various departments. This role mainly supports the Vendor Relations Manager within an assigned territory to build in-depth relationships with vendor partners across Rubicon’s hauler network.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the manager in leading the regional team’s efforts to maintain the work queues within the respective service level agreements
- Provide problem-solving resources and solutions to complex vendor issues
- Forster and promote teamwork to support a positive working environment
- Work with the Customer Care and Vendor Management teams to manage hauler performance according to contractual obligations
- Support the gathering and maintenance of hauler intelligence (pricing, market condition, location, and services)
- Address any service requests within the required service level agreements
- Assist in the implementation of goals and objectives, ensure adherence to policies and procedures
- Assist the manager in leading the regional team’s performance against KPIs
- Assign as needed and monitor the completion of hauler service-related projects to team members
- Communicate with other departments and management to resolve problems and expedite work
- Coach and mentor team members with a focus on drive continuous improvement in the waster hauler network and processes
- Develop, maintain, and continuously seek to improve all vendor relations
Qualifications
- Willingness to corporate with customers and management to resolve any issues that may arise
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Strong knowledge of MS office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
- Must be collaborative and able to work in a team environment
- 2+ years of experience in a professional setting, hauler relationship management experience preferred
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in decision making
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
Physical Demands and Working Environment
- To facilitate working from home, and as a requirement for this role, candidates must provide their own eligible, high speed internet access with sufficient bandwidth to execute all job functions. Company laptop will be provided
- While performing the duties of this job in a home office setting, the employee is regularly required to work on a computer for extended periods of time. Travel to attend team meetings may be required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
