Valuation Analyst - Renewable Energy Industry

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Valuation Analyst to join our team in the renewable energy industry. As a Valuation Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our valuation efforts and guiding our projects through the wider valuation landscape. Responsibilities:

• Utilize economic modeling techniques to optimize project development and support the valuation process.
• Adapt existing valuation models to different financial structures and regulatory requirements.
• Support external financial advisors and sponsors with modeling queries.
• Collaborate with the team to improve the business case for current and future projects.
• Provide modeling support for bids in our target markets, including New Jersey and New York.
• Contribute to the development of specialized models, such as a Hydrogen Pilot model, tailored to our specific needs.
• Handle other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Business.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Project Finance and tax Equity deals.
• Self-starter with sound judgment and strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of economic analysis techniques and practical application.
• Working proficiency in MS Office tools (PowerPoint / Word).
• 3-4+ years of relevant work experience in the renewable and/or offshore industry, with a focus on high-profile projects and modeling work.
• Ability to independently collaborate with internal and external experts to gather and implement information into valuation models.
• Experience with offshore wind projects is desirable.
• Results-driven team player who can deliver high-quality results on tight timelines.
• Proficiency in Excel modeling is required. Knowledge of VBA or Python is a significant advantage.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to travel periodically to different locations for 3-5 days at a time.

Working Conditions:

• Hybrid, with occasional visits to other office locations and project sites.
• Comfortable working in a diverse and fast-paced work environment.
• Attendance at relevant conferences and meetings may be required.
