Responsibilities
Teamwork, Support, and Process:

• Collect and process aerial data and images utilizing photogrammetry.
• Obtain waivers and Certificates of Authorizations as required.
• Stay current with industry developments and regulations.
• Safely operate UAVs for aerial inspections, surveys, and mapping.
• Learn roof and pavement consulting from Benchmark’s team of experts.
• Provide real-time feedback and recommendations to project teams.
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections and checklists.
• Maintain UAVs and equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with the information technology team to identify areas for improvement and implement new technology.
• Operate Benchmark provided unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to assist with various industrial roof and pavement construction projects.
• Comply with all FAA regulations as it applies to 14 CFR Part 107.

SPECIFICATIONS
Required

• FAA Part 107 Certification.
• 2+ years of experience as a UAV pilot or ability to provide flight log documenting 100+ hours of flight time.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Proficient in operating and maintaining UAV’s including software and hardware.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and some weekends.

Preferred

• Experience with photogrammetry software.
• Experience working in a related field/industry (engineering, construction, architecture, professional services, etc.).
• Experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System. Benchmark uses Deltek Vision.
• Experience with infrared thermography.
• Experience with DJI brand unmanned aerial systems.
• Experience in the construction industry.
• Experience with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System).
