If you are an organized and self-motivated individual, you may be the right fit for our Travel Advisor/Coordinator position! As an Advisor/Coordinator, you will be responsible for booking travel for groups and individuals domestically as well as internationally. This position is ideal for those who love to travel and help others with vacation planning. Travel Advisors/Coordinators handle the research and booking process for clients, which can include flights, hotels, resorts, cruises, car rentals, and event sales. Motivated individuals with an outgoing personality, excellent communication skills and an eye for detail are encouraged to apply! Travel experience is helpful but not necessary, and training will be provided.
Responsibilities
•Provide exceptional and professional customer service
•Review client’s needs and preferences for travel in order to customize a trip specially designed to meet their needs
•Research, create, and book specialized itineraries for clients
•Complete ongoing training to earn and maintain certification to book travel
•Attend ongoing webinars with vendors and suppliers, to become specialized with specific destinations and brands
•Review budgets, and plan trips according to each client’s budget constraints
•Plan daily travel specials to share with new and existing clients
•Develop and distribute promotional materials
•Monitor travel restrictions as they change
•Effectively communicate with clients pre and post travel
•Handle issues that may arise during the bookings and/or travel
•Follow company policies and procedures and maintain proper documentation
Requirements
•Must be at least 18 years of age and be able to work within the United States or it’s territories, Mexico, Caribbean, Australia or UK
•Must have strong written and oral communication skills
•Able to work independently with minimal supervision
•Must have a smartphone or laptop with internet capabilities
•Customer service or hospitality experience is preferred but not required
