Job Description
Summary:
Assist with scheduling and ongoing maintenance of all University-owned and leased vehicles.
:
Essential duties and responsibilities
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to work part-time up to 19 hours per week. Monday-Thursday 8am-12pm and Friday 8am-11am.
  • Obtain license, registration, permits and tags as needed for all university-owned or leased vehicles.
  • Regularly wash and detail all university vehicles.
  • Prepare documents as required by the city of Boca Raton for annual vehicle permits (i.e. beach permits).
  • Maintain records of all vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Schedule annual inspection of on-board vehicle fire extinguishers.
  • Assist with campus transportation needs.
  • Schedule maintenance and upkeep for all university-owned and leased vehicles.
  • Make minor repairs to university vehicles as needed.
  • Ensure transportation is in compliance with camp accreditor requirements.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Ability to read and write emails. Proficient in Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external parties
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Minimum qualifications
  • Class D driver’s license.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year minimum of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Clean driving record
