About The Role
The Transaction Analyst role is a critical member of CBRE’s rapidly growing Private Equity Advisory practice. The individual in this role will conduct a variety of analyses focused on real estate strategies, in support of CBRE's Private Equity clients and their portfolio companies.
This role requires development of complex analysis such as cost takeout programming, real estate portfolio optimization, market dynamics, and benchmarking. Analysis supports a range of client deliverables including strategic due diligence, portfolio improvements, scenario planning, operational improvements, and portfolio company C-level communications.
Sitting at the intersection of Real Estate and Private Equity, the Analyst has tremendous opportunity to learn about both industries and build foundational skills for a successful career in either sector.

Real Estate Salesperson license preferred.

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills. Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite

The minimum salary for the Transaction Analyst position is $90,000 annually [or $43.27 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Transaction Analyst position is $120,000 annually [or $57.69 per hour]. About The Role

What you’ll do
- Prepares savings diagnostics applying data management, benchmarking, opportunity analytics, implementation, and project closeouts
- The Transaction Analyst will be a critical member of the CBRE Private Equity team, reporting directly to senior leadership. The Analyst will need to communicate and collaborate with various constituents across CBRE including internal service line leaders, and various execution partners.
- Supports and development of more sophisticated analysis (i.e., cost takeout programming, real estate portfolio optimization, market dynamics, benchmarking, etc.) related to specific initiatives.
- Provides client reporting, activity tracking and performance measurement.
- Uses CBRE technology tools to build diagnostic dashboards.
- Conducts, synthesizes, and presents research on industry standard methodologies, and other issues of importance to the client.
- Prepares preliminary recommendations.
- Validates source of savings and speed to deliver.
- Situationally, provides management of real estate transaction activities for a single property or defined portfolio of properties on behalf of clients. Prepares, recommends, and implements a transaction strategy. Coordinates field resources and other internal and external stakeholders. Assists with project initiation and scope definition, prioritization of assignments, and adherence to client-driven priorities, commitments, and milestones.
- Documents cost saves from CBRE initiatives, nationally and regionally, and internationally as required.
- Advises on CBRE service platform integration (i.e., Transaction Management, Capital Markets, Supply Chain and Logistics, Labor Analytics, Incentives etc.).
- Prepares professional, client-ready presentations and supporting documentation in a variety of formats including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Develops implementation plans and KPIs.
- The Analyst will interact closely with senior executives at Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies.
