JOB SUMMARY FOR TRAINING SPECIALIST:


  • Epitec is seeking a Training Specialist to Training Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing comprehensive training programs to support the professional development and continuous learning of our employees.
  • Provides training support for employees worldwide and ensures compliance with site training procedures.
  • This position is on-site at the Des, Plaines, IL facility.
  • This position supports the administration of the learning management system (LMS) and management of the Quality System training program to ensure employees are trained to perform their activities.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, and leadership to ensure the effective delivery of training initiatives.


RESPONSIBILITIES FOR TRAINING SPECIALIST:


  • Coordinate logistics for training programs, including scheduling sessions, managing training calendars, booking training venues, and ensuring all necessary training materials and resources are available.
  • Conduct engaging training sessions through a variety of mediums, such as classroom training, virtual instructor-led training (VILT), webinars, and workshops, ensuring participants are actively engaged and their learning objectives are met.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including managers, supervisors, and employees, to ensure alignment of training initiatives with business objectives and employee development needs.
  • Develop engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, videos, job aids, and other resources to support various training initiatives.
  • Develop and implement evaluation strategies to assess the effectiveness and impact of training programs, utilizing feedback, surveys, and other measurement tools to continuously improve training initiatives.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify training needs and design effective learning programs to enhance employee knowledge, skills, and performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new training methodologies, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the effectiveness and relevance of training programs.
  • Utilize the company's learning management system to administer, track, and report on training activities, ensuring accurate records of employee training completion and compliance.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and validate training content, ensuring accuracy, relevancy, and alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR TRAINING SPECIALIST:


  • Experience with instructional design, curriculum development, and e-learning tools is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in delivering engaging and effective training sessions using various methodologies and technologies, including virtual platforms.
  • Knowledge of Articulate Storyline or similar e-learning development tools is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS), e-learning authoring tools, and multimedia software.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in training and development, preferably in a corporate or healthcare setting.
  • Relevant certifications in training and development are a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Training and Development, Instructional Design, or a related field.


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR TRAINING SPECIALIST:


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess training needs, evaluate training effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. Strong presentation skills are essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
