Manual and Automation Tester Role responsibilities • Conduct test basis analysis, identify test conditions, create test data, input test data, and verify the expected results for application product integration and user acceptance test phases • Develop, update, and maintain testing standards and procedures • Participate in the sprint teams to assist with the creation of manual test cases that are later turned into an automated test suite • Create the automated test suite on the TOSCA platform and maintain the test suite going forward • Work with basic SQL queries to do required data analysis for testing front-end and back-end processes • Create test plan in ADO, execute the test cases, and log defects • Conduct smoke, sanity, regression, exploratory, and performance testing • Involve in data load and data-sync testing • Develop repeatable fully automated tests, using the Tricentis TOSCA tool, that will operate without manual intervention • Provide creative solutions to challenges encountered developing repeatable automation • Rapidly update tests based on changes in the application • Create test coverage using risk-based testing techniques • Execute unattended testing and maintain the test environment • Effectively use third party tools and system utilities
