DEIF’s customers are primarily in the Land Power, Marine & Offshore and Wind Turbine markets and their headquarters resides in Denmark with an additional eleven subsidiaries worldwide.


As DEIF continues to grow their presence in the United States, we are looking for a self-driven and dynamic Territory Sales Manager to grow customer relationships in Florida, particularly focusing on the land power, marine and offshore markets. The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new customers and managing the sales cycle from start to finish. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting and growing existing customers and supporting the customers with pre-sales technical knowledge and presentations.


The ideal candidate will have solid experience with business-to-business sales, preferably from the distributed power market, renewables or microgrid industries and must be able to build, develop and maintain solid customer relationships and relevant professional networks. The Territory Sales Manager should be tenacious, self-driven and persistent and have an entrepreneurial spirit.


Key tasks and responsibilities

As Territory Sales Manager for Florida, your main areas of responsibility will be to identify customers and initiate customer relationships with the aim to create new business opportunities in emerging industries for the overall benefit of the DEIF organization. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Perform cost-benefit analyses of existing and prospective customers
  • Represent DEIF at trade fairs and other relevant events
  • Manage existing accounts and maintain positive customer relationships to ensure future sales
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations explaining DEIF’s products and services to customers in different settings
  • Assist in formulating ambitious sales and marketing strategies to enhance market share and sales capacity
  • Prospect and develop new customer opportunities using a variety of sources focusing on energy management systems, control solutions and battery storage for the Land Power, Marine & Offshore markets


Your qualifications

  • Ability to create new business opportunities while growing existing accounts
  • Accustomed to working remotely
  • A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or business (combined with technical sales experience)
  • A “go-getter” attitude
  • 5+ years of experience in sales of electronic and power components with solid knowledge of the distributed power market
  • Ability to communicate on all levels of the organization
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is an advantage but not a requirement
  • Experience selling PLCs and HMI as well as complex components to system integrators


Start date: As soon as possible

Travel: Approx. 50%, primarily in Florida

Location: Greater Fort Lauderdale, Florida area
