This is a remote position. The selected colleague will generally be expected to work at an MUFG office periodically. A member of our recruitment team will discuss location preferences with you in more detail.
Job Summary / Major Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with clients’ management teams to enhance the overall relationship and to help manage business risk
  • Help originate and lead new bilateral loans (and club deals) and participate in pro-rata Middle Market syndications in the Technology Sector
  • Help manage a portfolio of existing clients and prospect for new technology industry clients
  • Identify and institute a dialogue with members of the clients’ treasury teams
  • Help lead strategic initiatives and special projects
  • Support the development of new relationships with Equity Sponsors including VCs, Private Equity and Corporate VC
  • Support senior bankers in business development in Middle Market Technology Banking
  • Coordinate with credit approvers and underwriting team to grow and manage a portfolio of Middle Market Technology Clients
  • Partner with Transaction Banking, FX, and Debt and Equity Capital Markets to cross sell other products and services to clients
We require:
  • A well-developed network of professional peers and track record of achievements with prior assignments
  • Knowledge and experience in finance, specifically in emerging markets area and corporate finance
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of credit analysis
  • Client Banking Tech industry work experience is preferred
  • A bachelor's degree in business or related field of study, an MBA is a decisive asset
  • 5+ years of banking experience, business origination/sales, credit and product training, preferably with money center banks
This job could be located in the following locations (in preference order):
San Francisco, CA (Bay Area), NYC, Southern CA, Boston, MA and will consider Austin, TX & Seattle, WA)
The typical base pay range for this role is between $140K - $175K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
