Job Purpose and Impact
The Tax Advisor will provide thought leadership to identify highly complex tax matters and influence strategic legal solutions for related business issues. In this role, you will partner with key stakeholders in the assigned enterprises and jurisdictions to interpret and prepare work product using your knowledge of local and regional regulatory governance and recommend actions on critical company issues. You will serve as key contact on designed mergers, acquisitions, divestiture and joint venture projects. Key Accountabilities
Research and interpret highly complex tax principles, precedents and existing laws, statutes and regulations, consult with outside advisors, draft and execute legal documents and gather relevant case related information using multiple sources and methods with limited input from senior team members.
Partner collaboratively with stakeholders and provide written and verbal advice for complex tax issues, within a specialty area, to different teams and leaders.
Lead tax planning and transaction processes on complex corporate projects including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures, construction projects and procurement contracts.
Support the development of complex positions and handle external resources, including the preparation of communications and work product.
Lead execution of US or non-US audits or controversy, partnering with internal stakeholders, external tax advisors and counsel and tax authorities.
Understand business models and supply chains and develop appropriate transfer pricing policies.
Provide training and support to other team members on complex legal tax matters.
Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of six years of related work experience Preferred Qualifications
Juris Doctor or Master's in Taxation
Related work experience with a big four accounting firm, major law firm, or multinational company
Ability to travel up to 20%

This position may be performed remotely in the United States.
The expected salary for this position is $180,000-220,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
