Talent Onboarding Specialist

Job Summary:


The Talent Onboarding Specialist works closely with Talent and Clinical Operations team in a fast-paced organization. The Talent Onboarding Specialist loves welcoming new associates to Synchronous Health and has a keen attention to detail. As a Talent Onboarding Specialist be there to help onboard new hires at every step of the onboarding process at Synchronous health from coordinating with the credentialing team, to new hire orientation training to compliance with state and federal law, and benefits. The Talent Onboarding Specialist is an integral partner in welcoming associates to the organization and building associate relationships; often providing associates with their first impression of Synchronous Health. This role provides administrative support to the Talent function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry. Key Responsibilities


  • The Talent Onboarding Specialist is responsible for ensuring timely execution and completion of a seamless workflow for each new associate.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert and makes recommendations on how to improve process efficiency.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • The Talent Onboarding Specialist is the primary point of contact for and provides critical support to candidates, hiring managers, and internal HR and business stakeholders to provide a world-class onboarding experience for newly hired employees.
  • Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
  • Identifies innovative and creative new ways to onboard new associates/reach a more scalable and measurable onboarding experience.
  • Welcomes newly hired employees and executes the engagement plan throughout the onboarding journey; manages the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a great experience for new employees and a smooth start into their roles.
  • Insures compliance with all state and federal laws, including completing I-9 forms and I-9 verification and maintains a high level of confidentiality at all times.

Education and Experience:


  • 1-2 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience.
