- The Talent Onboarding Specialist is responsible for ensuring timely execution and completion of a seamless workflow for each new associate.
- Acts as a subject matter expert and makes recommendations on how to improve process efficiency.
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- The Talent Onboarding Specialist is the primary point of contact for and provides critical support to candidates, hiring managers, and internal HR and business stakeholders to provide a world-class onboarding experience for newly hired employees.
- Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
- Identifies innovative and creative new ways to onboard new associates/reach a more scalable and measurable onboarding experience.
- Welcomes newly hired employees and executes the engagement plan throughout the onboarding journey; manages the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a great experience for new employees and a smooth start into their roles.
- Insures compliance with all state and federal laws, including completing I-9 forms and I-9 verification and maintains a high level of confidentiality at all times.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- 1-2 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience.
