Your new role
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join our TA team in UT, CA, AZ, or IL. The TAP is energetic, collaborative and has a demonstrated track record of developing strategic recruitment plans, creatively sourcing potential candidates, and ensuring an outstanding both candidate experience and hiring manager satisfaction.
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Team Lead, you will:
- Consult with hiring managers regarding current and future headcount needs, candidate selection, and initial on-boarding processes.
- Collaborate with other members of the Talent Team to drive talent acquisition efficiencies and performance.
- Manage candidate and job information in our Applicant Tracking System.
- Other duties and additional projects as assigned
- Ensure a positive, professional candidate experience throughout the talent acquisition process.
- Leverage professional networking, internet resources, social media, direct sourcing techniques, alumni organizations and professional sites to source diverse internal and candidates.
- Advise hiring managers on best practices for interviewing skills, talent acquisition process, and retention.
- Build strong trusted advisor relationships with hiring managers to understand their business and staffing requirements, ensuring the highest quality of candidates are presented in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies for various locations
What you will need to succeed
- Experience in the mining industry is an asset
- In-depth end-to-end recruitment experience (5 years+)
- Tech savvy and curious
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written) additional languages are an asset
