Founded in 1921 and publicly traded since 1925, Newmont (www.newmont.com) is one of the largest gold companies in the world. Headquartered in Denver, Colorado, the company has approximately 24,000 employees and contractors, with the majority working at Newmont's core operations in the United States, Australia, Ghana, Peru and Suriname. Newmont's industry leading performance is reflected through high standards in environmental management, health and safety for its employees and creating value and opportunity for host communities and shareholders.

About this role

The Talent Acquisition Executive Coordinator is an administrative role supporting members of Newmont’s executive TA team. This highly engaged resource is committed to providing “white glove” concierge recruitment experience to executive candidates considering Newmont as their next career destination. As such, the Executive Coordinator plays an integral part in differentiating Newmont as an employer of choice. The successful candidate for this role may have previously worked in a similar position; however, candidates interested in transitioning from other careers (teaching or hospitality for example) are also welcome to apply as long as you have the competencies necessary for success – resourcefulness, adaptability, unmatched attention to detail, service orientation, amazing communication & teamwork, and willingness to work non-traditional hours as needed.

In this role you will

  • Engage with executive candidates to present options for interview scheduling and travel arrangements for interview purposes with a focus on efficiency, proactive communication, and consideration for the finer details that ultimately make a big difference in candidate experience
  • Interface with internal and external executive stakeholders to coordinate activities that are confidential in nature and require a great deal of discretion and professionalism
  • Bring a proactive and positive approach to closing any gaps that may exist on the team, to ensure administration is completed at the highest standard of quality
  • Support the Talent Acquisition team with the planning, scheduling, and handling logistics for other company-related events, i.e., career fair events, conferences, global meetings, etc.
  • Build and leverage relationships with internal stakeholders and executive assistants within the business to ensure executive interview scheduling is prioritized appropriately
  • Generate requests for payment, which includes creating/tracking/approving Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions for the team
  • Handle confidential business and personnel information, and time critical material with the utmost tact and discretion
  • Serve as a liaison between executives and key stakeholders involved in the interview process for executive level roles
  • Compile and complete expense reports related to recruitment travel

The above duties and responsibilities are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive.

The salary range offered for this role is $32.19 to 38.23. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.

This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.

As a result, please note that Newmont requires up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination for any international travel by the workforce undertaken on behalf of the company. In addition, other vaccinations (e.g., yellow fever vaccine) may be required for international travel to certain Newmont operating countries.
