Systems Administrator Jobs

Cookeville Regional Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time System Administrator to join our team in the Information Systems department.

Responsible for server setup and maintenance, installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software\hardware related problems. Performs system backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity. Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals. Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems. Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups. Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, configures, and creates interfaces and integrations between multiple applications and software solutions. May have software licensing responsibilities. Ability to independently interpret vendor/manufacturer product instructions and/or releases notes and installs new server software, patches; performs server installations and performs system backups and restores. Ability to troubleshoot basic system problems. Implements security measures as defined by product vendor ore per established industry best practices. May create virtual servers and ensure proper backup and restore procedures for both physician and virtual environments. May prepare project workplans. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Minimal supervision or oversight required.

Education: Bachelors in Information Technology required

Additional Experience Requirements: 8+ years' in Systems Administration, Advanced knowledge and experience with complex Active Directory environments and management (Multi-forest, domain trusts, schema & integration), Advanced knowledge and experience with Windows Server Operating Systems, server roles, lifecycle management, Functional knowledge and experience with SQL Server Administration.

Pay: $25.00 - $33.60 per hour
