Job Description
About this Opportunity:

We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our regional office located in Greenwich, CT. The Systems Administrator will be accountable to define and execute the continuous evolution of the Regency Centers’ systems host platform for delivering enterprise grade computing services. The individual will partner with the rest of the Technology Services team and Information Technology department to develop innovations, which contribute to technology evolution. They will stay current with technology trends and solutions which support the expanding cloud and datacenter portfolio. This individual will evaluate infrastructure solutions, cloud services, conduct research and demonstrate technical feasibility of improvements.
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Configure, deploy, and support VMware ESXi and vSphere / vCloud infrastructures on Dell EMC PowerEdge and Cisco UCS as well as SAN and iSCSI networks and virtual workstations (Windows, Linux).
  • Create and maintain documentation: logical/physical diagrams, server build documents, discovery documents and QA documents including capacity & availability management reports.
  • Collaborate with the Network & Security Services team to reduce security threats with dependable & reliable security tools & software applications.
  • Administer IT cloud services including disaster recovery services, server log monitoring, remote offsite backups, end user infrastructure network monitoring, Azure virtual servers, cloud storage as well as active directory & authentication services.
  • Serve as escalation point for systems as needed for Technology Services Service Desk initiatives in the areas of incident, server infrastructure issues, problem, change and project management and directly participate in incident support as needed.
  • Monitor, support, configure and build systems for physically hosted, virtually hosted and cloud services.
Are You Qualified?
Required:
o Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience
o 3+ years in related roles of implementing and managing infrastructure technologies
o Microsoft 365 certifications or equivalent experience
o Azure certification or equivalent experience
Technical Skills/Experience Required:
o Troubleshooting Windows, Windows Server, Azure and other Microsoft related infrastructure software ecosystems
o Obtain, deploy, and utilize system administration tools
o Author and leverage PowerShell and other scripting languages to automate tasks
o Plan tactics and strategy for advancing cloud and data center hosted systems
o Intermediate level proficiency in the following: Windows Server OS administration, Microsoft Active Directory, designing, maintaining and configuring SAN technology, Entra ID administration, and using IT Service Management systems (ConnectWise, Zendesk, Remedy, etc.
o Data driven analysis to leverage logs, technical support communities or peer networks
o Experience with configuration management systems such as SCCM
Preferred:
o 5+ years in the field of Information Technology in a regulated environment (SOX)
o Microsoft Server Administrator certifications
o VMWare professional certifications
o ITIL certification or equivalent experience

  • Connecticut Residents: Regency Centers carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The Connecticut hiring salary range for the Systems Administrator position is between $84,375 and $112,500 annually. The base salary is just one component of the total rewards package offered to our employees, including eligibility for a 10% target bonus opportunity. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
