Job Description

J2 Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator to join one of our growing clients in Philadelphia, PA.


Responsible for management of all systems, including configuration, business development changes and user support for all systems. This also includes the development of solutions, ensuring accuracy, quality, and data integrity. The role requires a strong view of change management process to ensure the delivery of tangible results and innovation to business community. This role’s responsibility includes managing support for the company’s EHR platform, Behavioral Health systems, and all other systems.


This role also requires the ability to partner and maintain relationships with key business and vendor personnel. This role will work to understand existing processes with business units to create opportunities for process improvements through systems integration and other means in support of all healthcare operations. The key goal of this role is to ensure efficient and effective operation of systems and supported integrations.


Responsibilities

  • Operate data capture technology to import digitized documents into document management system.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify document management requirements of departments or end users.
  • Work with other IT teams to develop standard procedures and measures including SLA’s for uptime and other key performance indicators.
  • Administer multiple systems to include security, reporting, metadata changes and troubleshooting system issues.
  • Monitor regulatory activity to maintain compliance with records and document management laws.
  • Search electronic sources, such as databases or repositories, or manual sources for information in support of business requirements.
  • Work with application and infrastructure teams to maintain all system configuration and adherence to security policies.
  • Understand relational database structures and work with Application Development team to model and develop required integrations while maintaining application performance and reliability.
  • Oversight of User hardware operations.
  • Consult with end users regarding problems in accessing electronic content.
  • Manage all phases of a systems review, and implementation project life cycle, including requirement gathering, planning, testing, implementing, and training.
  • Manage Systems Administration function including supervision and performance management for systems administrators.
  • Coordinate and oversee internal user acceptance testing of new functionality.
  • Perform hard document scanning, cleaning, indexing and archiving.
  • Manage Service Desk support operation.
  • Project management and support liaison between business units and vendors customizing systems functionality while maintaining integrity throughout operations when applicable.
  • Prepare support documentation and training materials for end users of document management systems.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including the scheduling and testing of system updates, maintenance releases and upgrades.
  • Administer document and system access rights and revision control to ensure security of system and integrity of master documents.
  • Work with business representatives to understand workflow processes in all business units.


Skills

  • Must be able to manage cross functional projects.
  • ITIL knowledge or certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment.
  • Strong problem solving and research skills.
  • Knowledge of computer applications including windows-based applications.
  • Project management oversight skills Self-directed, the ability to work independently, and being highly motivated while bringing an entrepreneurial spirit to Information Technology operations.
  • Knowledge of PHI, PII and HIPAA compliances.
  • Knowledge of telephone and fax systems.


Experience

  • 5 years of experience in Document Management platform technology, business process and workflow identification.
  • Experience with JIRA, Service Desk Plus and other PSA platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge of HIPAA and other business regulations.
  • Experience and ability to write JavaScript to be used for form functionality.
  • Integration experience required for SQL systems and multiple other application platforms.
  • 5 years of experience in systems administration in a multi-specialty healthcare environment.
  • 5 years of experience general healthcare principles and practices.
  • 5 years database administration background.
  • 5 years of experience with SQL Server (2008 – current versions).
