As a Salesforce Administrator/Developer, you will play a vital role at Cash App. We are looking for an experienced Salesforce professional to collaborate with our technology and business partners to analyze our internal processes, design, and develop scalable Salesforce solutions for specific business requirements. Our Salesforce instance is critical to our organization’s success, therefore you should always keep the org-wide platform health in mind when designing and developing new solutions. As a seasoned Salesforce Administrator/Developer, you will also coach and mentor junior team members and help the team grow. We are looking for an individual that is proactive and passionate about operational excellence and continuous improvements of our Salesforce platform.

You Will

  • Innovative and demonstrates intellectual curiosity
  • Participate in an on-call rotation
  • Partner with team and stakeholders to develop and support SFDC custom solutions, while keeping operational excellence in mind
  • As a seasoned Salesforce Admin/Dev, you will be expected to mentor and support junior team members
  • High proficiency with Salesforce configuration and development. Creative thinker and problem solver, anticipates problems, and develops solutions with little to no supervision or direction needed.
  • Act as an escalation point for issues and contribute positively to the success of the team in a fast paced environment
  • Work on complex business and technical problems, analyzing and evaluating current business methods and procedures for improvement.
  • The primary focus of this hybrid role is Salesforce.com configuration, with secondary responsibilities in code customization and architectural design.
  • Design and implement new methods, procedures, and systems (config and/or code) to improve the productivity, processing, and flow of information with end users
  • Build effective cross-functional relationships
  • Provide consultative services to partners and stakeholders

Qualifications


You Have

  • 3+ years participation & support for UAT and release management.
  • Salesforce certifications: admin, advanced administration, app builder, developer
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience with emphasis in applications and systems development, database and middleware technologies.
  • Working experience with Large Data Volume
  • Good understanding of Salesforce Tech Stack, SDLC, development tools, CICD
  • Hands on experience with Salesforce technical limitations and considerations while designing the solution
  • Previous roles in a high growth, tech environment preferred
  • Prior relationship building skills coupled with the ability to mentor and coach junior team members
  • Experience with enterprise application of Salesforce Service Cloud preferred, including OMNI-Channel
  • 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce, this includes platform configuration and custom development such integrations, web services, Apex, SOSL, SOQL, LWC, APIs
  • Strong communication, customer service, troubleshooting, and organizational skills and the ability to complete assigned work with minimal instruction and supervision

Technologies We Use and Teach

  • API, Web Services
  • Strong declarative knowledge, understands tradeoffs of using code, flow, or both
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Objects and Data Model
  • Lightning, Apex/LWC hands-on experience is a must
  • Working knowledge of technologies like AJAX, JQuery and JSON

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Zone A: USD $152,100 - USD $185,900
Zone B: USD $144,500 - USD $176,700
Zone C: USD $136,900 - USD $167,300
Zone D: USD $129,300 - USD $158,100

This role is also eligible to participate in Block's equity plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies, and may be eligible for a sign-on bonus.
