Position Overview:

Synergetics is seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Operations to oversee and optimize our operational processes across all business areas. As the VP of Operations, you will play a crucial role in driving the strategic vision and operational excellence of our company. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects, streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and deliver exceptional results to our clients.

Essential Job Functions:

Operations Management

VP of Operations will directly oversee installation services, supply chain, logistics, project management, and operational aspects of customer services. Must establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track operational performance, analyzing data to drive data-driven decisions and improve operational efficiency. Additionally, they must have extensive knowledge of human resources, finance, and sales. This broad knowledge helps them successfully monitor all operations, implement effective solutions, and reduce costs.

Leadership

As senior executives, VP of Operations must have strong leadership abilities. VP of Operations must be able to lead their team members through the company’s projects and encourage them to achieve mutual goals and objectives. Leadership helps them delegate tasks, provide support and assistance, and emphasize the team’s success.

Communication

A crucial skill for this position is strong communication. VP of Operations must be able to clearly articulate and convey their ideas and visions and provide accurate instructions and feedback to their team members. Communication also helps them successfully collaborate with external vendors, partners, and other executives and foster professional relationships.

Strategic Thinking

Strategic thinking involves the ability to see the bigger picture and implement long-term goals. VP of Operations needs a strong, strategic mind to establish the company’s goals and objectives, as well as plans for how to achieve them. Education and Experience:

• 5-10 years’ experience in upper-level management; previous IT Infrastructure Operations, IT Service Management or Business Operations experience, preferred.
• Advanced degree in telecommunications, bachelor’s or equivalent.
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully leading and transforming operations, driving operational excellence, and achieving business objectives.
