Vice President Of Finance

We are currently assisting our client, located near Cleveland, OH with a Vice President of Finance search. Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will serve as a financial business partner to the business. This position will operate as a business leader with a strong initiative and commitment to business growth. The VP of Finance will also be responsible to drive the business financially to balance achievement of short-term expectations with a long term strategic profitable growth targets. This is a highly visible, high impact position where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a decisive role in the future success and growth of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, monthly and year-to-date budget analysis for budget review
• Develop effective working relationships with direct reports
• Drive management meetings to review the key performance indicators, monthly operations reports and progress to goals
• Coordinate and review monthly financial forecasts, annual profit plan, and 5-year strategic business plan

Requirements:

• Strong leadership and presentation skills, and the ability to explain and communicate financial results to management in an understandable and actionable format for decision-making purposes
• Demonstrated track record of building trust and operating effectively within a dynamic and changing organization
• BS Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent, CPA is a plus
