  • Provide guidance to product development teams to ensure that new packaging designs adhere to sustainable principles while meeting aesthetic and functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainability strategies, goals, and initiatives that align with HCT's commitment to environmental responsibility.
  • Assist in the preparation of sustainability-related reports, presentations, and communications for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the development of educational programs and training sessions to increase awareness and understanding of sustainability practices among HCT's employees.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies related to sustainable packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and eco-friendly innovations.
  • Analyze data to measure and report on key sustainability metrics, such as carbon footprint, water usage, waste reduction, and material sourcing.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for environmental responsibility and a genuine commitment to driving positive change in the cosmetics packaging industry.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, certifications (such as Cradle to Cradle, FSC, etc.), and industry best practices related to sustainability.
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Packaging Engineering, or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey complex sustainability concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven project management abilities with a track record of leading successful sustainability initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of sustainable packaging materials, design principles, and manufacturing processes.
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in sustainability, preferably within the cosmetics beauty industry or related sectors.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive informed decision-making.

Benefits:

  • Competitive pay and benefits package.
  • Access to professional development and growth opportunities.
  • Work-life balance with a hybrid work arrangement (3 days in the office, 2 days remote).
  • Opportunity to work with a forward-thinking team in a dynamic and innovative environment.
