Job Description

Summary:

This position is responsible for providing complete, accurate, and timely billing. He/She may also be responsible for registering patients and initiating certification process for patient treatment as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School or GED (Required)Knowledge of medical terminology. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Insurance billing. Typing skills of 5 0-70 wpm. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with public and patients. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. One to two years previous billing Experience in a medical office/hospital environment.
