Supply Chain Management Coordinator

The purpose of this role is to directly supervise and manage material storage site(s) activity on a POWER project where we are providing SCM and/or Material Management services. The role will be accountable for the operations at one (1) or multiple sites ensuring the 3C’s (Care, Custody, and Control) are maintained over safeguarded material. Additionally, role will be responsible for conducting Project material-related analysis to provide insights and support the needs of the Project. The candidate selected for this position may work remotely full-time at a location other than a POWER Engineers-designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a POWER office for periodic meetings.

Required Education/Experience

• This role will consistent of:
• 3+ years of relevant experience preferred
• General knowledge of the Power Delivery Industry, and Supply Chain Management Principles
• Team members must be extremely proficient in the Office 365 suite of software’s, with an emphasis on Excel. Advanced Excel knowledge is beneficial
• Role will be located at the Project sites nationwide
• Experience in collaborating on Projects as a value-added member
• Remote
• Travel dependent on project location

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conducts analyses of inventory levels, and coordinates with production and sales requirements
• Transportation Management
• Performs supply chain and logistics functions, such as material/services procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution.
• Coordinates inbound and outbound logistical operations including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products
• Conduct detailed analysis of inventory in comparison to project needs (site, schedule).
• Plans and coordinates fleet operations including acquisition, scheduling, maintenance service and repair, and disposal of trucks, and hires common carriers (third-party transportation companies) as appropriate

• Analyzes transportation and distribution systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and economical delivery of the organization's products
• Ensures that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel

• Conducts physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records
• Coordinates and integrates the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers
• Maintains controls over various types of inventories (e.g., raw materials, subassemblies, finished goods)
• Ensures that quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are correct

Salary DOE: The pay range for this position is $75k - $125k per year; however, base pay may be higher or lower depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This figure does not include additional compensation such as health benefits, vacation, 401k, etc.
