Short Description


Coordinating hospital wide staffing resources while having direct oversight in the allocation and fiscal responsibility of managing these resources to ensure units are able to provide safe patient care.

Directly oversees staffing operations at the guidance of Logistics Leadership

Direct oversight, at the guidance of Logistics Leadership, of staffing resources by demonstrating fiscal responsibility through appropriate allocation of float pool staff, extra shifts, overtime, travelers, and agency.

Leads daily staffing meetings with department leaders to discuss unit census information, staffing ratios, and discharges for patients

Develops and implements daily staffing plans/assignments for the department of nursing and patient care services that operates within budgeted HPPDs.

Executes nursing staffing plans by operating within Bargaining Unit Contract guidelines

Fiscal responsibility of minimizing improper cancellations and minimizing administrative pay.

Direct oversight of backend throughput related to cab vouchers and public transportation for patients to minimize delays in discharges.

Experience Required

3-5 years preferred
