Responsibilities:
Performs ongoing orientation, training and education to all members of the Care Management team. Staff Educator will assume responsibility in ensuring that staff will have knowledge of regulations, protocols and workflows. Responsible for establishing all educational modules and training kits as needed, as well as performing random audits to assure compliance. home care, nursing, RN, homecare, nurse, home care nurse, home care RN
Qualifications:
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Working knowledge of State and Federal regulations
- Excellent analytical skills, interpretation of data
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing required
- Master's degree in nursing, education or related field preferred
- Requires a Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of two (2) years care management experience required. Managed Care experience preferred. UAS NY knowledge required
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
- Travels to perform business partners training
- Ability to set priorities and to handle multiple assignments
- Working knowledge of audit techniques and methodologies
