We have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team of Recruitment Professionals. Reporting to the Global Talent Acquisition Manager, you will focus on our Early Talent department. In this role you will leverage your interpersonal skills, strategic mindset, and in-depth experience-based knowledge of world-class talent acquisition and sourcing strategies to solve problems and target opportunities. You will focus on supporting recruitment and sourcing activities to identify highly qualified individuals that align to our core values and competencies for internships and early talent positions. Finally, you will collaborate with your peers across the recruitment team to continuously improve and refine solutions to best fit complex situations.


Job Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Manages Early Career Talent recruiting, including planning for college career fairs and national career events
  • Ensure client satisfaction for the recruitment efforts within span of support by communicating business needs
  • Manage the candidate pipeline by implementing effective sourcing strategies. Effectively program manages recruitment campaigns as required
  • Understand and use Workday (the candidate database) and ensure up to date data management of recruitment applications by Hiring Managers at all times
  • Provide back-up recruiting services as needed
  • Manage full cycle recruiting for client groups
  • Provide recruiting status updates to Global Recruiting Manager and HR Managers including performance vs targets, sourcing/recruiting challenges/issues etc.
  • Utilize all recruiting tools and resources (job boards, CRM, etc.) to ensure hiring managers are receiving top quality candidates for current and future talent needs
  • Track candidate process and minimize time to hire (Resume (CV) to offer) through driving the candidate pipeline
  • Ensure the positive candidate experience is at the forefront of all recruitment activity
  • Collaborate with other regions to share knowledge and lessons-learned
  • Partnering with business leaders and HR team members to develop and maintain effective relationships
  • Develop and maintain effective relations with the hiring managers in span of support as well as establishing relationship with internal and external candidates
  • Primary recruiting contact for hiring manager. Continually engages with hiring managers and leaders to understand the recruiting business needs and required skills
  • Responsible for quality of the prospective candidates that are presented to the hiring managers for open requisitions
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with local recruitment policies & processes


Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s level degree
  • Previous experience with an applicant tracking system (preferably Workday) and managing candidates through the recruiting review and selection process. Experience sourcing and utilizing sourcing tools i.e. Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment with an emphasis on managing early talent


Top Candidates will also have:


  • Knowledge of talent analytics
  • Displays strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with various levels of the organization, including strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Extensive experience using LinkedIn, Indeed, etc. with experience and/or knowledge of tools such as Beamery
  • Effective communication, relationship management, and customer focus.
  • Recruiting experience in manufacturing and/or engineering industries


Compensation & Benefits


Base salary for this role ranges from $ 85,954.00, to $128,930.00. Actual salary will be based on experience. The total rewards package, beyond base salary includes:

Summary Pay Range:


$85,954.00 - $154,716.00


Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
