What you'll do


The Sr. Social Impact Manager will manage the DocuSign IMPACT Team, leading programs and events to drive and celebrate employee engagement through giving and volunteering. This individual will be partnering with stakeholders across the business, including executives, to ensure successful delivery of the team’s objectives. A successful individual in this role will be passionate about maximizing DocuSign’s IMPACT in the community, will have strong program and project management skills, a strategic outlook, and strong communication skills.


This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Affairs.


Responsibility


  • Manage a global team of volunteer ambassadors to support program objectives
  • Enhance the quality of the employee experience by partnering with key internal stakeholders such as Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, DIBE and Workplace Experience to engage employees in social impact at various stages of the employee lifecycle
  • Support other IMPACT-related initiatives throughout the company as needed
  • Advance the IMPACT, Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging and Equity (DIBE), and Sustainability agendas of the company by establishing and managing strategic relationships with grantees, philanthropic partners, and vendors
  • Position DocuSign IMPACT operations for scale by developing and publishing policies, self-service resources and documentation to meet a growing demand for support from internal stakeholders
  • Provide regular reporting on key milestones and deliverables for both internal and external audiences
  • Drive employee engagement in social impact activities through the design, implementation, management and evaluation of a portfolio of programs, including company-wide employee giving and volunteering initiatives
  • Contribute to successfully implementing DocuSign’s product donation program in partnership with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee DocuSign's philanthropic response to emergencies, disasters and humanitarian crises
  • Manage strategic communication plans for complex and integrated campaigns targeting both internal and external stakeholders across a variety of channels


Job Designation


Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.


What you bring


Basic


  • Experience in employee engagement
  • 12+ years experience in a global private or corporate foundation, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) role or nonprofit environment


Preferred


  • Demonstrated commitment to social impact and CSR efforts
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and effectively manage time
  • Global mindset
  • Strong business acumen
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working on matching gifts programs, volunteer management, and grant application programs
  • Project management skills with attentiveness to detail and consistent follow through
  • Ability to work confidently and thrive in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively and comfortably with employees who have diverse skills and experiences and are in different geographies and levels within the organization


Wage Transparency


Based on legislation in Colorado, the following details are for Colorado individuals only: Colorado pay range: $115,800 - $163,575 base salary


Based on legislation in New York City, the following details are for individuals who reside and would be working in New York City only: New York City pay range: $123,600 - $174,525 base salary


Based on legislation in Washington state the following details are for individuals who reside and would be working in Washington only: Washington pay range: $115,800 - $174,525 base salary


Based on legislation in California the following details are for individuals who reside and would be working in California only: California pay range: $123,600 - $202,550 base salary


This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
