Where You'll Work:

Our Jackson, WI facility is located just north of Milwaukee and easily commutable with easy on/off freeway access. We create dry beverage mixes products for Kerry customers. We work hard, play hard, and give back to the community we work in through our Kerry employee engagement program. We are located a commutable 20 minutes north of the Milwaukee metro area. What You'll Do:

• Create and update product runsheets, lab procedures and programs.
• Maintain lab employee schedule.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Create daily report of quality issues and concerns and communicate them to management.
• Oversee preshipment program to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Have a good understanding of the general purpose, philosophy and direction of The Kerry Group as a whole and specifically the Jackson plant as it relates to employee policies and expectations, quality, customer satisfaction, GMP, sanitation, and production requirements. Maintain awareness of customer and regulatory demands and focus.
• Supervisor designee in Supervisor absence. QA Clerk designee in QA Clerk absence.
• Understand and comply with all HACCP, Allergen, Environmental, regulatory and customer demands and requirements. Keep detailed and accurate quality records.
• Act as back-up SQF Practitioner in Supervisor absence.
• Works with the other Leads and Supervisors to ensure a smooth transition from shift to shift.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and relates in a positive manner when interacting with all personnel.
• Report food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
• Coach or direct other department personnel so that they have the required information to perform their jobs adequately.
• Mange laboratory equipment calibrations and standardizations.
• Act as interface to research and development, contract plants and other Kerry plants on quality testing and concerns. Evaluate testing methods to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct employee training, education and development relating to quality.

What You'll Need to be Successful and Safe:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Micro-Biology, Organic Chemistry and/or Food Science
