Inside the Role
A Quality Technician performs advanced quality techniques to ensure conformance to specifications.
Ability to be quality minded, able to troubleshoot issues, product knowledge. Must be able to use a computer efficiently and have knowledge in use of Microsoft office.

This position offers:
  • Starting pay of $24.00/hr. up to top pay of $33.87/hr.*
  • Quarterly gainsharing bonus potential
  • Additional shift differential for off-shifts

What You Drive at DTNA
  • Communicate with suppliers and customers in an accurately and timely manner
  • Ability to monitor, collect, and process various types of data to assist in measuring of systems, processes, or product
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Perform Internal Systems and Product Audits
  • Complete training matrix for each rotation position
  • Issue and coordinate Corrective Actions for Layered Process Audits
  • Use computer systems to access company data associated with the assembly process, utilize drawings, bills of materials and specification sheets in both electronic and hard copy
  • Perform assigned tasks within the stated or implied deadlines and meet all expected deliverables
  • Investigate Quality Issues and propose solutions in process
  • Ability to read and understand Work Station Instructions
  • Perform physically demanding manufacturing duties including: repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, the use of machinery, and following standardized work procedures
  • Adhere to established work rotation plan
  • Understanding of purchasing system and requirements for purchasing items
  • Actively participate in improving work area in terms of safety, quality, attendance, productivity, suggestion activities, housekeeping, and throughout
  • Work with hourly associates and team members on day to day quality issues
  • Maintain Dirt check process, equipment and schedule
  • Use of computer, gages, forklift, and pallet jack
  • Investigate Quality Issues and propose solitions in process
  • Participate as a member of the Quality Management Team
  • Create and maintain Schedule for Process and Product Audits (LPA Audits & Dirt Checks)
  • Ability to operate hand tools and small power tools in a safe and nondestructive manner.
  • Good understanding of the current Quality System
  • Basic computer skills(Microsoft office, Outlook, etc. )
  • Maintain Non-Conforming Materials database for Layered Process Audits
  • Properly identify component parts by learning identification numbers
Knowledge You Should Bring
  • Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power tools
  • Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Willingness to cross-train throughout the area
  • Ability to work in a repetitive motion environment
  • Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Basic computer skills(Microsoft office, Outlook, etc. )
  • Established satisfactory attendance record and performance rating
  • Ability to work overtime when necessary
  • Ability to collaborate with a team and work independently
  • High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s or Associates Degree Preferred
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
  • Basic computer skills
  • Previous mechanical experience
  • Knowledge of product
