Quality Control Lab Technician (New Health Care Company)

• Participate in laboratory investigations method development activities for new products and procedures
• Collaborate in a fast-paced team environment, working within and across different groups
• Maintain accurate documentation of work product
• Routine testing for Finished Product, In-process and Incoming raw material testing with minimal supervision (Testing might include sampling and handling samples up to 20 lbs.)
• Follow standard operating procedures and keep current on all mandatory training

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering field (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution).

• Laboratory experience related to analytical chemistry (Laboratory courses as part of a science or engineering degree may qualify)
• Working knowledge / experience with laboratory equipment (balances, ovens, autoclaves, UV-Vis spectrometer, FTIR, column chromatography, etc)
• Working knowledge of systems for testing for total organic carbon (TOC), total nitrogen (TN), endotoxin)
• One (1) year working in a Quality Control (QC) testing environment in a private, public, military or government environment
• Computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Minitab)
