Job Description
Company Description

LinkedIn is the world’s largest professional network, built to create economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce. Our products help people make powerful connections, discover exciting opportunities, build necessary skills, and gain valuable insights every day. We’re also committed to providing transformational opportunities for our own employees by investing in their growth. We aspire to create a culture that’s built on trust, care, inclusion, and fun – where everyone can succeed.

Join us to transform the way the world works.

At LinkedIn, we trust each other to do our best work where it works best for us and our teams. This role offers both hybrid or remote work options, meaning you can work from home and commute to a LinkedIn office, depending on what’s best for you and when it is important for your team to be together, or this role can be performed remotely in most locations in the country of employment.

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Sr. Lifecycle Marketing Manager to oversee ‘Revenue and Retention’ programs as well as Quarterly Product Release (QPR) communications for LSS. This role will predominantly focus on developing and implementing the strategy for upsell and cross-sell campaigns to generate incremental revenue streams for our Online and Field segments. This will also involve creating and executing a strategy to win back churned customers. Hence, the Sr. Lifecycle Marketing Manager in this role will be accountable for incremental revenue in terms of upsell, cross-sell and winback efforts. To realize their vision, they will collaborate closely with the LSS Growth & Lifecycle marketing team as well as cross-functional partners such as Product Marketing, GPO, Data Science, Demand Gen Operations, Customer Success, Support and Pricing.

In addition, albeit in a smaller (~25%) capacity, the individual will collaborate with Product and Product Marketing to develop and send QPR communications. This communication aims to inform existing customers about new product features in order to increase product usage. The communication channels primarily include email along with LinkedIn ads (LoL).

The ideal candidate will have the ability to navigate ambiguity to build and execute strategy from the ground up in collaboration with cross-functional partners. Skills that will make this role successful include: strong business acumen, navigating ambiguity, excellent collaboration, analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills. A data-driven mindset is vital, and the ideal candidate must take a customer-centered approach to formulate and execute a business strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to devise, execute and optimize campaigns. Work closely with Data Science and Demand Gen Ops to conduct analyses, test hypotheses, measure and report key metrics
  • Collaborate with Product, Product Marketing and GPO on QPR communications across channels such as Email and LinkedIn Ads. Optimize these touchpoints through A/B tests
  • Drive strategy and execution for Revenue & Retention programs to drive incremental revenue in terms of upsell, cross-sell and winback

Qualifications

Basic qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Lifecycle Marketing, Customer Marketing, Digital or Growth Marketing
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • Communication skills: ability to distill complex concepts into clear and concise language; take a storytelling approach to presentations; adept at writing and testing across channels
  • Strong data fluency and ability to use both quantitative and qualitative information to inform strategy, decisions and roadmap prioritization
  • Experience working in B2B SaaS businesses driving customer growth and expansion at scale using digital marketing channels
  • Comfort with ambiguity; ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously; and collaboration and influencing skills
  • 8+ years of experience in Lifecycle Marketing or Customer Marketing

Suggested Skills:

  • Stakeholder Management
  • Dealing with Ambiguity
  • Customer Lifecycle Strategy
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Strong Business Acumen
