Sr. J2Ee Developer

Job Duties:

C&T Information Technology Consulting, Inc. in Cedar Park, TX is seeking Sr. J2EE Developers to design, develop, document, and deliver software solutions. Individuals will apply theoretical and practical knowledge of Computer Science and Engineering principles and concepts to carry out the following duties and responsibilities:

1. Lead the design and development of web application components using Struts, JSF, Spring, and JSP;

2. Propose solutions for implementing new business logic to existing monitoring wizard and form in existing application;

3. Oversee the performance of system design, test plan, requirement gathering and documentation;

4. Oversee development of page flows, business objects, configurations, hibernate database mappings and POJOs;

5. Develop web components using JSF and deploy in web sphere application server;

6. Create GUI screen and implement business logics for the same;

7. Develop Bean classes to execute the business logic and action forms to collect input data from users using JAVA, DAO and Oracle;

8. Prepare low level design document based on requirement document;

9. Deploy application in WebSphere, WebLogic application server, and WebSphere portal server;

10. Develop DAO layers using JDBC and Hibernate;

11. Coordinate with QA Team to fix defects in SIT, UAT, and production which was logged in Bugzilla, HP ALM;

12. Develop web application using technologies such as Eclipse IDE, RAD, J2EE, Struts, JSP, AJAX, JSF, Hibernate, Oracle, XML, JavaScript, HTML, JDBC, JAVA, J2EE, Web Services, UNIX/Windows Environment, JUNIT;

13. Develop and generate reports using Jasper Report;

14. Analyze and create the JSF composite custom component using Facelets;

15. Create PDF using IText; and

16. Integrate systems through JMS and Web Services.

This position does not supervise any other employees and does not perform any project management.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related field of study, plus five (5) years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) involving software development.

Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency and knowledge with the following:

1. JAVA, J2EE, JDK, Struts, JSF
2. Rich Faces, JDBC, JSP, Servlet, Hibernate, Javascript
3. CSS, Rad, Web Services, WebLogic Application Server
4. CVS, Log4J, SQL Developer
5. HP ALM, ANT, JUNIT, and Oracle.

No Travel or Telecommuting. Position is project-based at various unanticipated work sites within the U.S., and relocation may be required at the end of each long-term project.
