What will you be doing?

• Provide production support for development and remediation, including providing issue response and performing root cause analysis
• Work on large-scale, custom distributed systems using Java, Spring, and JavaScript to help drive designs towards asynchronous, functional, reactive systems
• Perform Unit testing using frameworks like Junit and Mockito to test developed logic
• Develop high quality client/server applications using Java and Spring
• Build and deploy applications using Jenkins for Continuous Integration-Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and open-shift as cloud environment
• Design and develop applications using various architectures methodology like Microservice and active-active architecture
• Design, code, and unit test complex software components for new or enhanced IT systems
• Employ agile techniques including task estimation, test automation, deployment automation and CI to enhance overall execution speed and product quality
• Support all legacy and new technical platforms as well as develop RUN and CHANGE strategies
• Develop applications using Object Orient programming and design, and J2EE design patterns
• Develop applications using Core java, java 8 concepts and advanced frameworks including Spring for dependency injection, Spring-boot for rapid application development, and Hibernate as an Object relational mapping tool
• Integrate applications with multi-tiered infrastructure like Load balancers, database, OpenShift as cloud environment
• Reviewing peer code to ensure high code quality
• Implement communication between applications using technologies like Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), representational state transfer (REST), and Spring Messaging System integration

What we’re looking for:

• One (1) year of experience of using message broker software (ActiveMQ, Kafka)
• Two (2) years of experience of using knowledge of cloud foundry, CI/CD, and Jenkins to build and deploy services to the production environment; and Working with DBMS and SQL to manage state of requests and prepare client reporting
• Must have knowledge of PL/SQL queries, Distributed Systems, Software Engineering and Agile methodologies, and Cloud Technologies including OpenShift and AWS
• In the alternative, employer will accept Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in stated fields and at least five (5) years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in stated occupations
• Requires Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field and at least two (2) years of experience in role offered, as a Software Developer/Engineer, or related occupation
• One (1) year of experience of performing application monitoring using AppDynamics
• One (1) year of experience of using REST API architecture for server/client real time communication
• Two (2) years of experience of using Java and Spring to develop applications and write business logic
• One (1) year of experience of using HashiCorp Vault configuration server to store application secrets
